The China Masters badminton tournament for the year 2024 took place in Shenzhen from November 19 to 24, showcasing top-tier talent in the sport. This prestigious event, part of the Super 750 series with a whopping prize purse of $1.15 million USD, witnessed thrilling matches and stunning performances.

Amid the persistent challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the China Masters faced postponements since 2019 but successfully returned in 2023. Notably, the tournament saw Vietnamese player Nguyễn Thùy Linh create ripples by defeating former world number one Carolina Marin from Spain and Danish star Line Kjærsfeldt.

The reigning champions include Kodai Naraoka from Japan in the men's singles, Chen Yufei from China in the women's singles, Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang from the host nation in men's doubles, Nami Matsuyama and Chiharu Shida from Japan in women's doubles, and Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong from the host nation in mixed doubles.
