The CIPUTRA HANOI - YONEX SUNRISE Vietnam International Challenge 2024 is set to showcase top-tier badminton talent from March 12th to 17th at the TDTT Sports Hall in Tay Ho District, Hanoi. Established as the Vietnam Satellite and Hanoi International tournaments before transitioning into an International Challenge event in 2008, the CIPUTRA HANOI - YONEX SUNRISE Vietnam International Challenge has grown in stature and quality over its 13 editions. The presence of 15 internationally accredited umpires ensures fair play and adherence to standards.
Notable international contenders include Rhusta Vito Shesar Hiren (Indonesia), Shetty Ayush (India), Sim Yu Jin (Korea), and Letsthana Karupahthevan (Malaysia). The champions stand to earn $1200, while second and third place receive $720 and $300 respectively.
Vietnamese shuttlers, including Nguyen Hai Dang and Le Duc Phat in men's singles, Vu Thi Anh Thu in women's singles, and mixed doubles pair Nguyen Dinh Hoang/Tran Dinh Manh, are geared up to excel in front of their home crowd.
