In the second game, Saran Jamsri proved to be a formidable adversary, swiftly establishing a 7-2 advantage. With an impressive run of scoring 7 out of 8 points, Jamsri comfortably claimed the second game 21-11, setting the stage for a decisive third game. In a back-and-forth final game, both players exchanged leads until Jamsri surged ahead at 16-11 with another dominant scoring spree. However, Nguyen Hai Dang demonstrated his resilience by clawing back, saving two match points, and eventually securing a thrilling 22-20 victory. With this hard-fought win, Nguyen Hai Dang sets up a clash in the third round against another Thai player, Puritat Arree, ranked 347th globally, with a spot in the quarterfinals at stake.
