Following the conclusion of the CIPUTRA HANOI - YONEX SUNRISE Vietnam International Challenge 2024, Vietnamese badminton stars such as Vu Thi Trang, Vu Thi Anh Thu, Le Ngoc Van, and Nguyen Hai Dang are gearing up for a new adventure at the prestigious Ruichang China Masters 2024.

The Ruichang China Masters 2024, a Super 100 event with a total prize fund of $120,000, is scheduled to take place from March 19 to 24. This tournament is in its second year, with the 2023 edition witnessing Chinese players like Sun Feixiang, Lin Hsiang-ti, Chen Boyang, Liu Yi, Chen Xiaofei, Feng Xueying, Jiang Zhenbang, and Wei Yaxin emerging as champions in various categories.

As part of the World Tour system and a stepping stone towards the Paris 2024 Olympics, the winner of the singles event will receive 5,500 points, the runner-up 4,680 points, semi-finalists 3,850 points, quarter-finalists 3,030 points, round of 16 participants 2,110 points, and round of 32 entrants 1,290 points.

In the women's singles event, Vu Thi Trang and Vu Thi Anh Thu will start from the round of 32, while Le Ngoc Van will begin from the qualifiers. Vu Thi Trang will face Thailand's Nutnalin Rattanapanuwong (world ranking 209) in the opening round, while Vu Thi Anh Thu (world ranking 114) will take on Peng Yu Wei from Chinese Taipei (world ranking 250).

In the men's singles event, Nguyen Hai Dang, seeded 5th, receives a bye in the first round. Other notable seeded players include Shesar Hiren Rhustavito (Indonesia), Ayush Shetty (India), Wang Po-wei, Kuo Kuan-lin (Chinese Taipei), Chan Yin Chak, Jason Gunawan (Hong Kong), and Riku Hatano (Japan). Nguyen Hai Dang is ranked 82nd in the world.
