The 2024 National Youth Badminton Championship - Donex Cup, organized by the Vietnam Badminton Association, the Sports and Physical Education Bureau, and the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in collaboration with Donexgroup, has been taking place from June 11th to June 16th, 2024 at the Ba Ria - Vung Tau provincial sports arena. As of this morning, individual events have concluded with outstanding performances by various players, leading to the victory of Tran Quoc Khanh, Tran Thi Anh, Pham Van Truong / Vu Trung Kiet, Huynh Khanh My / Nguyen Thuy Kim Hang, and Pham Van Truong / Bui Bich Phuong.
The overall medal tally so far shows Ho Chi Minh City leading with 2 golds and 2 silvers, followed by Hanoi with 2 golds, 1 silver, and 1 bronze; Thai Binh with 1 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze, and Bac Giang with 1 gold and 3 bronze medals. The team event recently concluded with Ho Chi Minh City clinching the championship by a thrilling 3-2 victory over Hanoi. Following this, the tournament continued with individual and doubles matches.
