Having appeared as a candidate for the 2024 Victory Cup, Nguyễn Thị Thu Huyền has proudly raised the Vietnamese flag on the international badminton stage. She became the first Vietnamese player, both male and female, to reach the finals of an Asian-level tournament at the U15-U17 Asian Youth Badminton Championship in 2024, where she clinched the silver medal, setting a new record for Vietnamese badminton in recent years. Her growing collection of titles includes the national team championship in 2024 and the gold medal in the women's singles category at the National Teenage Championships 2024.

Born in 2011 in Bình Giang, Hải Dương, Nguyễn Thị Thu Huyền is seen as one of the most promising young talents in Vietnamese badminton. Introduced to the sport by her parents at the age of 2, she started garnering achievements at the age of 5 at the provincial children's tournament. By the age of 9, she had already won double gold in the girls' singles and doubles categories at the National Children's Championship in 2020. In September 2021, at the age of 10 and while studying in grade 5, she was called up to the national badminton team.

The remarkable progress of this young player caught the attention of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Đồng Nai province, leading to her recruitment to the provincial badminton team in early 2024. Within a few months, Nguyễn Thị Thu Huyền played a crucial role in securing a historic team championship for Đồng Nai at the 2024 National Team Badminton Cup - Li-Ning Cup in May. Shortly after, she claimed the gold in the girls' singles and the silver in the girls' doubles U15 at the National Youth Badminton Championships 2024 for Đồng Nai. The Badminton Association of Vietnam has recognized her immense potential and included her in the list of key investment talents.

Nguyễn Thị Thu Huyền's meteoric rise in the world of badminton is a testament to her talent, hard work, and dedication to the sport. With an impressive track record at such a young age, she is undoubtedly a name to watch out for in the future of Vietnamese women's badminton.
