Vietnam secured the 17th spot in the BWF World Junior Mixed Team Championships 2024, competing for the Suhandinata Cup. The young team displayed skill and determination, marking a significant victory over Hong Kong, China.

In a thrilling match held today, October 5th, the Vietnamese team demonstrated exceptional prowess on the badminton court. The journey began with Bui Bich Phuong claiming victory over Wong Yi in the women's singles, setting a tone of competitiveness. Tran Thi Anh and Bui Bich Phuong continued the winning streak by defeating Wing Chi Chu and Liu Hoi Kiu Anna in the women's doubles. However, Lam Ka To of Hong Kong, China, managed to lead in the men's singles against Tran Quoc Khanh.

The tide turned when Le Minh Son and Nguyen Vu Ngoc Tran secured a crucial win in the mixed doubles, propelling Vietnam forward. The pair of Nguyen Van Mai and Pham Van Truong displayed remarkable stability in defeating their opponents. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen widened the lead by triumphing over Liu Hoi Kiu Anna in the women's singles. The duo of Tran Thi Anh and Bui Bich Phuong maintained the winning streak by overcoming Cheng Wing Lam and Lee Hoi Lam Joan.

Tran Quoc Khanh then emerged victorious against Awan Usman in the men's singles, consolidating Vietnam's position. With commendable performances from the entire team, including Pham Van Truong and Bui Bich Phuong, Vietnam secured a remarkable overall victory.
