In the men's singles second round, Bui Thanh Dat ended the winning streak of Hanoi players by defeating Hoang Tien Dat in a closely contested match that ended with a scoreline of 21-15, 22-24, 21-14. Meanwhile, Phan Phuc Thinh secured a commendable victory over Tran Trung Tin from the Military team with a score of 21-15, 21-13.
